Jaxon has a crib!

We finally got Jaxon a crib! He has been in a pack n' play all of his life :)

Yes I do realize that he will be crawling out of it soon...but then we will

turn it into a toddler bed. (Plus I figure we will use it for future children)

We don't have any cute bedding in it yet but hey at least he has a crib!

Check out this dresser I found next to our dumpster at our

apartments! Just needs a little paint or stain and some new knobs!

Next on my to do list... spray paint these letters either metal or copper

and then I will hang them over his crib.

This is the "theme" I am hoping to have for his room I will follow up with

finished pictures of his room in the next few months.

Now onto the rest of the house...

I am still working on decorating the house...I thought it would be so easy

but with a budget it really isn't as easy as I thought. I guess I just need to get

crafty!

Tyson found this large "wave" picture and wanted it and if you know Tyson

you know he never buys anything.. so we bought it! What do you think? We

still aren't sure about the location of the picture and would love feedback!

Our guest room is still empty and our bedroom... well it just has a bed in it so I will add

pictures as I decorate. Thats all for now let me know what you think! (Honest feedback here

my feelings will not be hurt!)

We were so excited to finally move into a home! We having been living in an apartment for the last year, on the third floor, in a one bedroom. Don't get me wrong the apartment was very nice and we really loved it there, but we were getting so cramped and we were having a hard time having Jaxon in our room still. So when we found this beautiful home we were sold!

Catch up

Well it has been over 6 months since I posted last. I decided it was time to catch up! Jaxon is now 18 months old! He is such a sweet heart and we love him so much. He has started talking a little but mostly he just tries to copy the words that we say. One of the things we hear him say all day long is "I'nt" or I want smashed together, he uses it to ask for things like "I'nt water" or "I'nt da da" or "I'nt george" (when he wants to watch curious george). It is soo much fun to watch him learn, I never realized how much I would love this part of being a mom and being such a pround momma when he learns new thing.

My parents came to visit. It was sooo awesome!! I wish they could come more often! Jaxon loved it because he got so much attention, I loved it because I got a break and Tyson loved it because I was happy!

We went to Sea World for a couple days and went to see the Alamo and the river walk in San Antonio. We also went to the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory...they have the best ice cream! We went swimming and we went on a lot of walks to see the alligators!

Jaxon got a much needed haircut from my mom! Here he is after...

When we got home from dropping my mom off at the airport he just walked around the house looking for her and crying.

Jaxon Walking

Jaxon started walking a few days after his first birthday although he was taking steps around 9 months old, he did not get the courage to walk across the room until he was 1, and then he took off and hasn't stopped since!
